Are you asking… Why would I buy yarn online? I get it! I love roaming the isles at the yarn store and picking up and feeling the soft skeins in my fingers. With that, all the craziness of 2020, we all had to adjust. Shopping online has become one of those adjustments.
There are benefits to buying yarn online. The selection of brands is vast, and you can find great deals and get them delivered to your door.

How to Buy Yarn Online

The actual process is relatively simple. First, choose an online yarn store. Then select the yarn you want and add it to your cart. Next, enter promos (if you have them), pay, and check out. Then wait for your package to be delivered.
That’s the basic, but there is a bit more you should know about buying yarn online…

Be Prepared

Just like shopping in a brick and mortar shop, you want to be prepared. If not, you could end up with a bunch of yarn you don’t need (is there such a thing? LoL) and spending more than you planned on.

I’m serious; when shopping online, read it all! While browsing the selection, read the yarn details, check out the customer reviews, and go over the store’s policies on refunds and returns. Look to see if they offer discounted or free shipping with a minimum purchase amount. Another good thing to find out is if the shop guarantees matching dye lot numbers on the skeins you purchase.

When you find the online to buy from, sign up for their newsletter. You’ll receive emails with the latest promotions. Shoot, sign up from them all, and get the best deals!
