This crochet throw pillow pattern is worked in the paired half double stitch. It works up quickly and is a perfect addition to add a pop of color to your home.

1: hdc2tog over the 3rd and 4th chain from the hook, *hdc2tog by working over the same space as the last stitch and the next stitch. Repeat from * to end of the chain.
2: ch2, turn work, hdc2tog over the first and second hdc2tog from the privous row, *hdc2tog over the same space as the last stitch and the next, repeat from * to end of the row. The last hdc2tog will be made over the same space as the last stitch and the top of the turning chain.
3-33: Repeat row 2
Fasten off and weave in yarn ends.
Border: Pagoda
Single Crochet evenly around each side of the squares.
Fasten off and weave in yarn ends.
Assembly:
Place squares with wrong sides facing.
Attach yarn (pagoda) in any corner.
Working in the center loops only of each side, sc in each stitch around three sides of the pillow.
Insert the pillow insert. Then, continue with sc in the center loops only to close the pillow.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
